Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for web hosting, domain, and server-related issues
- Troubleshoot Linux/Windows server problems
- Manage shared, VPS, and dedicated hosting environments
- Handle DNS, SSL, email, and website configuration issues
- Monitor server performance and resolve downtime incidents
- Assist customers via ticket, chat, and email support
- Maintain documentation for support procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and basic Windows Server
- Experience with cPanel/WHM, Plesk, or similar control panels
- Understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, and MySQL
- Basic knowledge of web servers (Apache/Nginx)
- Ability to work in shifts and handle pressure
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Knowledge of Docker and virtualization (KVM/VMware)
- Scripting knowledge (Bash/Python)
